An Introduction to Pressure Washers
Pressure washers are cleaning equipments that use a combination of mechanical devices to generate a pressurized stream of water that is capable of removing tough dirt, dust, grime, mud, and molds on concrete, steel, and other solid surfaces. Basically, a pressure washer accelerates water and propels it at high speed to create its cleaning power.

Pressure washers are powered by either an electric motor or a combustion engine. There are significant differences between the two powertrains and may have an advantage over the other, including significant disadvantages.
Electric pressure washers run using electricity. They are often designed for light cleaning tasks. This means they are ideally suited for home use. The main advantage of electric pressure washers is they can be used for indoor cleaning applications. Unlike gasoline-powered pressure washers, they do not emit fumes which can be lethal if exposed to and breathed in for longer periods. Another advantage of electric pressure washers is that they often come in a small form factor, making them very portable and easy to store.
Gas pressure washers run using a combustion engine. Their capability of generating more power and pressure than their electric-powered cousins makes them highly suitable for commercial and industrial working environments. This higher cleaning power means they can clean dirty industrial or commercial places more easily and more efficiently. In fact, this high cleaning power makes them ideal for cleaning construction sites, stripping paint off, cleaning engine components, and many more.
Pressure washers are without doubt the best invention when it comes to efficient cleaning. If you are planning to purchase a pressure washer, it is highly advised that you identify your cleaning needs, including the frequency of usage. This will give you a rough idea of how much cleaning power you need. Although pressure washers are not that pricey, it is still a good idea to purchase a unit that suits your cleaning needs. You wouldn’t want a unit that has too much power as it has the capacity to destroy what you are cleaning. You also wouldn’t want a unit that has too little power as it will be pointless having one in the first place.
